What is covered by this offer?
We will provide cDNA subcloning, expression and antigen purification for just $1000 / €850 / £580 in conjunction with a paid HuCAL® antibody generation project.
What kind of starting materials are accepted for this offer?
- The Antigen Expression Offer applies if the customer supplies:
Antigen cDNA clone – at least 3 μg of cDNA plus full sequence information.
OR
Antigen sequence or other information for purchasing an appropriate clone.
- Some additional charges may apply if:
There is no cDNA available. In this case there may be minor charges related to clone purchase or gene/peptide synthesis.
Is there a time limit?
Purchase orders and cDNA and/or sequence information must arrive at our Munich laboratories by the end of 2008. Since planning the project to generate the best antibody for your needs, and then writing up the project plan and quotation can take some time, it is best to get in contact with one of our HuCAL® specialists as soon as you can.
Is it available in all countries?
Yes, we develop antibodies for customers all over the world. Simple instructions and copies of all necessary documents for shipping antigens to our laboratories in Munich are provided with your quote. All you have to do is schedule the pickup.
How long till I get my antibody?
Antigen sub-cloning, expression, and purification are normally completed within 3 weeks. HuCAL® Antibody development takes 8 weeks from the start of screening until final QC of the purified monoclonal antibodies, so the entire process normally takes less than 3 months.
We will perform the special offer antigen expression in batches, so the start will be scheduled according to the number of orders received and arrival of customer starting materials and we cannot promise that we will be able to deliver antibodies within 3 months of your order. However, please be assured that we will express all antigens for this promotion as soon as possible.
How much does the antibody development cost?
You can find price lists in Euros, Dollars, and British Pounds here. The Co-developer Discount Program, which provides up to 40% discount on antibody generation, is available in conjunction with the Antigen Expression Offer.
When will I have to pay?
Antigen expression is charged as soon as it is completed. We only charge for antibody generation when we deliver purified antibodies meeting the specifications defined in the official quotation and purchase order. Some complex projects may require an upfront deposit, however, our ‘No Antibody – No Charge’ guarantee is available on the majority of quotations.
Do I also get purified antigen?
Yes, we deliver purified antigen protein along with your antibodies. Additional amounts of antigen protein can be ordered at any time.
What if my antibody project would be better with a peptide antigen?
Sometimes peptides are the better choice, and our specialists will certainly work with you to determine the best options for your antibody project. If it turns out to be a peptide antigen, we will expand our offer to provide free peptide conjugation.
